The ASUS Transformer Book T300 Chi release date is March 12 after it started taking orders today with shipping starting tomorrow. It’s possible to buy the Transformer Book T300 Chi for $699 with MicrosoftStore.com being the first store to sell it.
This is for the FHD version of ASUS Transformer Book T300 Chi Signature Edition (Signature Edition simply means a clean install without any annying trial software from 3rd parties). The Full HD resolution of the Asus T300 Chi is 1920 x 1080, which fills the 12.5-inch IPS screen.
The processor is naturally one of the things that matters the most with this tablet, and this particular model that is in stores now, is powered by the Intel Core M-5Y10c processor with 2.0 GHz turbo boost frequenzy, which means it lies somewhere between Intel Core i3 and Intel Core i5 in performance, but below in power consumption. So, a win win I guess you could say.
For a tablet or 2-in-1 it has plenty of RAM, with 4GB of DDR3 RAM on this Asus T300 Chi model, not to mention plenty of storage with 128GB of solid state drive memory. If that’s not enough at some point, then it offers both microSD card expansion as well as USB 3.0 files transfer. So with USB 3.0 you can transfer files from anything you like very quickly.
The Wi-Fi connection is as good and fast as it gets too with all five ac/a/b/g/n 802.11 as well as both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz bands supported.
Other specifications include another USB port, buth with USB 2.0, as well as a micro-HDMI port, a 2 Megapixels front camera, and a 8 hour battery life.
The ASUS Transformer Book T300 Chi only comes in Dark Blue as a “color option” to begin with.
