Walmart announced today that they are rolling out contactless auto car for car owners, where customers can book appointments for a car service through the Walmart app, drop of the keys in a keylocker, and then get a message on the smartphone app once the car is ready to be picked up again.

The first Walmart Auto Care Centers (ACCs) with this app driven service are at 10 locations in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Oil changes are said to start from $27, and tire services from $5.

So most of the features aren’t very new for a car service other than the guaranteed ability to drop off as well as pick up the car, by using the key locker and not dealing with customer service in person.
