It feels kind of unbelievable but computer monitors remain as one of the few items that have not been too badly affect by inflation the last couple of years. Case in point is the interesting new 24-inch monitor ViewSonic VX2426, which despite being a gaming monitor, is launching for just $129 on September 7: https://www.amazon.com/ViewSonic-VX2426-1080p-Gaming-Monitor

And it actually has gaming credentials for those who rely on speedy monitors for competitive gaming or esports.

The Viewsonic VX2426 features a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution display with a 240 Hz refresh rate, a 1ms response time, SuperClear IPS technology, 250 nits brightness, and even has stereo speakers.

Feature support includes AMD FreeSync, HDR10 Content Support, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort inputs, and a 3.5mm audio jack. So even someone who doesen’t need a gaming monitor but who could benefit from a flicker free monitor, would benefit from such a cheap monitor.
