The newest foldable of 2025 features a 6.5-inch cover display with a 21:9 aspect ratio and an 8-inch main display, 11% larger than its predecessor, optimized for multitasking and immersive viewing.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, it delivers significant performance improvements for AI tasks like real-time language translation and Generative Edit. I guess it only remains to be seen if this is the sort of AI people want on their smartphone. I’m on the fence about this myself.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 introduces a very high resolution 200MP wide-angle camera, a first for the Z series, with AI-enhanced imaging for superior photo and video quality, especially in low light. One UI 8, built on Android 16, integrates multimodal AI, including Google’s Gemini Live for contextual assistance.

The Armor FlexHinge reduces creasing, and the cover display uses Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for added durability.
