Fuji’s somewhat acclaimed new telephoto lens FUJINON XF400mmF4.5 R LM OIS WR lens hits the market tomorrow: https://www.amazon.com/FUJIFILM-FUJINON-XF400mmF4-5-OIS-Lens

It’s a $3199 400mm lens, so for that kind of money you have the right to expect a thing or two. That said, the price is actually considered good value compared to the other lenses from other brands that have hit the market recently.

It has enough optics to weigh 1245g (2.74lb), which from an image quality perspective is not a bad thing.

To make practical use of such a lens, highlights includes Optical Image Stabilization at up to 5.5 stops, four ED and two ‘Super ED’ elements, and a high speed autofocus motor, which is also necessary for modern wildlife and sports photography.
