As a $149 portable monitor, the attraction here is mainly the relatively low price, and that it looks better than its predecessor.

It’s thinner than a lot of other portable monitors too, even with the built-in kickstand, and it can be used not just with Windows and Linux computers, but Macs too.

Hardware specifications are a 16-inch matte LCD screen with 1920 x 1200 Full HD resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 4ms response time.

It connects with both 2x USB 3.1 and HDMI 1.4 ports, and it also has its own 2 Watt stereo speakers, something that even a lot of stationary monitors lack. And lastly, Acer’s new 16:10 aspect ratio monitor also feature AMD FreeSync.
