360 Degree 8K Flagship Action Camera GoPro Max2 Released In October
The famous action camera brand GoPro announced their latest flagship type of outstanding camera on September 23rd called GoPro Max2 which is a top of the line 360 degree capturing camera and video camera with 8K video resolution and 6 mics for a full life-like sound recording of the situation: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FNGK6JZ
The GoPro Max2 is now rolling out to the first ones who ordered, with the launch price being $499. This is the most exciting new consumer camera of 2025, although 360 degree capture is not for everyone or all sceneries of course.
With a 360 degree capture of everything around you due to the two cameras on each side, you get 8K video with 7680 x 3840 resolution at 30 fps, or 4K at up to 100 fps for high resolution slow motion action shots. You can easily use things like light painting or time-lapse functions too, with separate programs for night or day, as well as 29MP photos.

GoPro Max2
In addition to the image stabilization and ultra smooth videos that GoPro actioncams are famous for, the Max2 has highlights such as GPS, replaceable lenses, operating temperatures down to -35C, a low weight of 195 gram, wind noise reduction, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, USB C 3.0, both screw and magnetic mounts, a very high level of ruggedness and waterproofing, with 16FT/5M waterproofing before it’s even covered by any additional shell or cover.
And of course GoPro has long since embraced AI functionality too, and the size of GoPro means that you get a lot of editing tools and services at your fingertips if you want to enhance or edit your photos and videos quickly with features it would be difficult to add otherwise. So the appeal of the ecosystem is a part of the GoPro appeal to me.
