Samsung Galaxy View has been taking orders for two days with a pre order price of $599 for the one and only 32GB model of this very large Android 5.1 tablet.

Since it was announced earlier this week it has received a lot of attention because of its size. But the specifications for the Samsung Galaxy View 18.4 are actually quite good. It has a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution in that 18.4-inch display, and this is in a high quality Samsung display, which means more than mere pixels.

And it has a Samsung Exynos 7 octa-core processor, which very few tablets has or can compete with, so that’s pretty cool. Other main specs include 2GB RAM, 32GB storage and 128GB micrSD slot support, 4 watt stereo speakers, a 2.1 Megapixel front camera, GPS, USB 2.0 port, full range dual-band Wi-Fi cover, BT 4.0, and a 8 hour battery life on this unique and large tablet.

Samsung says the Samsung Galaxy View release date is November 6th, which is shortened from the original November 20th launch date.
